The National Science Centre (NCN) grants have been awarded to three Institute of Psychology researchers.
The highly competitive awards, given to Poland's most innovative, high-impact academics, have been won by four researchers from across the Institute four different labs. The awarded scientists and projects are:
- dr Elżbieta Anita Bajcar, "Overcome the nocebo effect with the placebo effect. The use of learning processes to reverse nocebo hyperalgesia",
- prof. Michał Kuniecki, "Is it fake? How meaning, attention, and emotions shape perceived authenticity of photojournalistic photographs",
- dr Marta Sieldecka, "The dual function of metacognition: the interplay between regulation and monitoring"

dr Erica Molinario, "How Frustration of low and high order needs Affects extremism and radicalization vs. cohesion and prosociality".
