Dr Urszula Górska and mgr Patrycja Kałamała among Poland's top young scholars!

The Foundation for Polish Science has announced the START programme results.

Dr. Urszula Górska, a member of the C-Lab and Patrycja Kałamała, a member of the Langusta, Psychology of Langueage and Bilinguliasm Lab have been awared the START stipend. They both will receive a one-year stipend of PLN 28,000, which may be used for any purpose.

Dr. Wacław M. Adamczyk, a long-term member of the Pain Research Group, an the head of the Laboratory of Pain Research at his alma mater in Katowice will also receive the stipend.

START stipends are awarded to the most talented young researchers from all over Poland who won this year’s competition in the START programme. Over 3,000 START laureates have received a START stipend so far.

The START programme of the Foundation for Polish Science is the country’s largest stipend programme for the best young researchers representing all scientific disciplines. The aim of the programme is to support outstanding young scholars and encourage them to pursue further scientific development.
